British Veterinarians split over antibiotic advertising

.
Reports are emerging of a split between the various British veterinary industry bodies on the question of direct advertising of antibiotics to farmers.

It's not a question of not informing farmers. It is a question of removing a flow of laundered cash from sticky fingers, already making fortunes from the supply of antibiotics into sick pig herds

The cessation of direct advertising would remove much of the money driving the massive veterinary PR machine justifying associated antibiotic abuses.

If this is the first sign of a reform movement emerging from the ranks of Britain's veterinarians it is to be warmly welcomed.

They have much to do.
